TWIN LAKES VILLAGE LADIES' NINE HOLE CLUB
HOW DO I JOIN, AND WHEN DO WE PLAY:
The TLV Ladie's Nine Hole Club was formed for women who only want to play 9 holes of golf, but enjoy a league setting. It is also designed for women who want to learn how to play the game in a friendly setting. We will begin play April 5, 2012 (weather permitting) and play every Thursday with tee times at 9:00 a.m. through June. In July and August we will tee off at 8:30AM. Our goal is to play in 2.5 hours. Dues are $45 per season and you do obtain a U.S.G.A. GHIN number. Green fees for non-TLV members are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors (60+), or $220 for a league season pass. Cart fees are $7.00 per person, but we do try to line you up with a member with their own cart. You may also choose to walk. In addition we each pay $1.00 per week for winner cash credits in the pro shop; and .25 per week for winners of the chip-in pot. Temporary handicaps are established after 5 rounds of golf. You are welcome to play two rounds with us (paying green fees) before league dues are required.

INACTIVE SCORE POSTING SEASON AND SCORE POSTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Each year the Washington State Golf Association observes an "Inactive score posting season" An inactive score posting season is the period during which scores from rounds played in an area that is observing an inactive score posting season are never acceptable for handicap purposes. For areas under the jurisdiction of the WSGA (Northwest Idaho) that period runs from November 15th to the last day of February.
Should our club be one that continues to post scores during the inactive season, those scores are never transmitted to GHIN and reside on the computer at our home club only. In addition, if our club does allow you to post scores from rounds played in the WSGA Region during the inactive score posting season, you may post home scores only and they may only be posted on the WSGA Handicap Computer at our home club. Please do not post scores via the Internet for rounds played in the WSGA Region during our inactive season.
If you are traveling to an area which is still accepting scores for handicap purposes during our inactive score posting season, those scores must be posted as soon as practicable. If that area uses GHIN (Southern California, Northern California, etc.) as its handicap computational service, all you need to do is choose the Guest Score posting option, enter your GHIN Number, Last Name or Club Number, and your score. If you are traveling to an area not using GHIN (Arizona, Southern Nevada, etc.) as its handicap computational service, please choose the Guest Score Posting Option or IGN Option when posting at the club where you play and your score will be routed back to your membership record at our WSGA Member Club.
Scores from rounds played in other areas of the country during our Inactive Score Posting Season will be used to compute your USGA Handicap Index on the next handicap revision after they have been posted. They are not "held" until the March 1st revision.
While the WSGA has been doing so since April 2010, effective January 1, 2012, every golf association will revise their member's handicaps on the 1st and 15th of every month throughout the year.
